Prof. Dr. Jürgen Strauß started to work as a lawyer in 1992. For many years his practice is devoted to business law, protection of intellectual and industrial property law and unlawful competition. Within this areas his specialities are Law of contracts (licences, research & development, cooperations), Trademark Law, International Business Law and Unlawful competition.
Prof. Dr. Jürgen Strauß is admitted to appear as a representative at every regional and district court of Germany and at the European Court of Justice.
He is a member of the German Bar Association, the German Association for the legal protection of intellectual and industrial properties and copyrights and the German-French Lawyer's Association.
Prof. Dr. Jürgen Strauß studied law at University of Regensburg and University of Tübingen. He graduated from University of Tübingen. At University of Aix-en-Provence/Marseille, France he followed studies in International Law for one year, graduating as maître en droit. From University of Tübingen he received the degree “doctor juris”. Since 1998 he gives classes in business law at the University of Aalen.
